ICL is made from a material called collamer that is safe to use in the human eye. Unlike traditional contact lenses that sit on the surface of the eye, an ICL is positioned inside the eye between the iris (the coloured part of the eye) and the natural lens. Once implanted, the lens remains indefinitely.
Why should you consider ICL?
Perfect option for high power
High definition vision
No corneal tissue removed
Suitable for dry eyes
Suitable for thin corneas
Fast recovery
Treatment Steps
After administering the topical anesthesia, an approximately 3mm incision is made in the cornea.
The lens is implanted in the eye through the incision.
The lens is placed between the iris and crystalline lens
